Welcome to another exciting week with Upper Intermediate B. We have had a very significant week talking about life-changing events and how they differ slightly depending on where you are from. We also discussed banks and money, and came up with individual plans on how to become a billionaire. The race to see who does it first is on! My bet is on the teacher…

On a more serious note, we discussed some difficult vocabulary such as values, concepts and metaphors. We cried about courage, we harped on about honesty, we discussed the importance of dignity and then we were careful what we wished for. All in all, a very dramatic week in the Upper B class. Looking forward to next week when we talk about everyone’s favourite topic…FOOD!
