What a glorious week on the Gold Coast to be studying English at Australia’s premier English language school – Inforum Education. It was bums up and heads down this week for Pre-Intermediate B as we dove head first into unit 13. We discussed great films, works of art, literature, the difference between ed and ing adjectives, the present perfect continuous and how to create complex noun phrases. We paused for a day off mid-week before returning on Thursday to tackle unit 14. After a few false starts and hiccups along the way, we ended up mastering those pesky relative clauses as well as taking in a lot of new vocabulary connected to household objects. We rounded out the week reviewing everything we had learned before doing some exam preparation for the looming Cambridge PET exam in week 6.
