This week in Advanced we managed to get through a practice test – well done. After the unit of science and research was discussed by using passive forms, we learnt lots of vocabulary for talking about statistics. We also watched a challenging video on the large Hadron Collider, built in Geneva.
Nature and nurture was an interesting topic that we discussed while looking at auxiliary verbs, which were interesting. Finally, everyone did an absolutely brilliant job of giving a Pecha Kucha presentation. They were not entertaining, but also informative – well done. Finally, next Thursday, the CAE test will be given so be sure to arrive on time.
