This week in Upper-intermediate, we got the chance to go out and have lunch together. This beautiful meal was at Daniel Stuart’s, a local café that produces quality modern Australian cuisine. We enjoyed smoothies, coffees, gourmet burgers and more while spending some quality time with our classmates. This sounds like we were just relaxing and having fun, but we were actually there for an important purpose, to interview and get as much information as possible on Daniel Stuart’s as a business so we could analyse it and make suggestions on how it can be improved.
We interviewed the restaurant’s lovely owner, Myra, who provided interesting information about the business and true insight into how it runs. This, however, was not a one-sided exchange. https://inforum.com.au/blog/this-week-in-upper-intermediate-2/ https://inforum.com.au/blog/this-week-in-upper-intermediate-2/Upper-intermediate also needed to ask very specific questions to get the information they needed. Communication here was key.
Ultimately, a great way to combine work and pleasure!
