It was a very interesting week for our pre-intermediate students who discovered the cultural differences of being a guest in Australia compared to their home country. After touching on ‘permission,’ we practiced what we had learned through conversation activities, and held a class competition to see which group could remember the most information. It was a gripping race between The Kings, The Whales, The Asia’s and The Koalas, all the way through to a nail-biting finale where The Whales took out the competition, winning a packet of Tim Tams as a result.
