Movies, music and all things cultural. Pre-intermediate 2 had a very exciting time delving into this week’s topic. We discussed genre’s both in film and music, various pieces of art, and even the Nigerian film industry known as Nollywood. We talked about relative clauses, gifts and containers. An interesting reading prompted extensive discussion on the positives and negatives of reducing, reusing and recycling. Finally, we told each other about our best and worsts gifts, given and received. Everything from an iron to a holiday was mentioned. We finished off the week with how to write a letter of complaint and a mini class party celebrating our differing music styles and sharing our love of cakes and chocolate. All in all, another fantastic week in pre-intermediate.
