My name is Emily. I was born in North Yorkshire, England. However, I grew up in New Zealand and spent most of my life there. I studied a bachelor of science, majoring in biochemistry and animal science. I then went on to study English, more specifically a diploma of TESOL. After completing my diploma I moved to Queensland, Australia where I began teaching general English. I thoroughly enjoy teaching English, especially to international students. I find it very rewarding, particularly when I see students improve their speaking ability and start to understand English grammar. The Gold Coast is a great place for students to learn English. There are so many opportunities and great places to visit. I look forward to getting to know everyone at Inforum Education and I can’t wait to continue my teaching journey here.
