A little bit of crazy can go a long way.
What does this mean? Well, talking to yourself in English will not only help you
to improve your grammar but will also re-train your brain to start
thinking in English.
While you may never be “100%% fluent” in English, the more time you spend using your brain
in English, the easier, more natural, and more fluent your English will become.
How can you do this? It is quite simple really.
First, you simply choose one part of grammar and ask your teacher to give you a very clear
explanation of how to use it. Practice this grammar a bit with your teacher, and then use
that grammar for 15-20 minutes a day.
For example, let’s use the present continuous tense: I am writing a blog now.
Once your teacher has helped you, you can then talk to yourself using this tense.
So, when you are doing stuff at home just tell yourself what you are doing.
I am opening the fridge. I am looking for the milk. I am getting the milk.
I am walking to the bench. I am pouring a glass of milk.
You can say this out loud if you want or you can say the sentence in your head.
It doesn’t matter how you do it. The important thing is to make your brain think
in English and produce English.

Now, maybe people will think you’re crazy for walking around
talking to yourself but just remember:
