A beautiful day at Currumbin Wildlife Santuary

On 5th of November – a sunny Saturday – a lot of students joined  our activity which was at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.

We went there to see the animals of Australia in a similar environment where they  usually living.

We met in front of the school and caught the bus. Our travelling took from Southport to Currumbin approximately 50 minutes. During this time the students had a great talk with each other. However the language – that they used – was just English. It`s not because of me. They recognized that this is the best way to improve their speaking skill.

If you go to the Wildlife Sanctuary, you have possibility to hold koalas,

snakes (and get this photo) and take a lot of photos with kangaroos, wombats, Tasmanian devils, crocodiles, emus, dingos and other animals.

However it is not just this. You can join the free shows too ,like cold blooded reptile show, free flight bird show, aboriginal dancers and others. It is a good opportunity to get a lot of information about these animals and the Australian culture.

We took a lot of photos with the animals. It was special with the kangaroos. We saw a baby kangaroo as well! It was so cute.

In summary if you have a possibility to go to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, don`t miss it! It one of the most interesting places in this area!
